Jupiter Science Ionizers are comparable in performance to any other water Ionizers on the market. They provide a high pH and low negative ORP. Jupiter Alphion and Melody  have the advantage of an Automatic Cleaning Cycle with Manual Override, a combined feature that no other Water Ionizer on market can make claim to. Electrodes

The electrodes on a Jupiter Water Ionizer that actually produce the Ionized Water are comprised of solid titanium, one of the hardest metals known. This provides the electrodes with longevity built to last at least 20 years. The titanium is coated, not electroplated, with platinum for excellent, yet durable conductivity.

Replacement Filter

The replacement filter for Jupiter Science Ionizers are extremely high quality. They provide pre and post-particle filtration and pre and post-carbon filtration. The Activated-Carbon filter is silver impregnated in order to retard bacterial growth on the carbon. This is very important if the water supply is a well or other non-municipal system because of the bacteria associated with those systems. The silver can not possibly leach into the water, even though silver is not harmful. The carbon filter removes 99% of chlorine, a known carcinogen, out of municipal water. The carbon filter also removes VOC's (volatile organic chemicals) such as benzene and trihalomethanes, also known carcinogens. The particle filtration on the unit is less than 3 micron, removing virtually all free floating material from any water.

Adding Minerals to the Source Water

Jupiter Science Ionizers have a port on top of the filter where calcium, magnesium and other water soluble minerals can be added, a feature not found on many other Water Ionizers on the market. Adding alkaline minerals to the water through the filter before the ionization process produces a stronger Ionized Water. Minerals that are ionized are assimilated by the body much more efficiently than those that have not been ionized.
